About Carpet Corner

Since 1968, Carpet Corner Flooring Store has been helping families across the Kansas City metro area when it comes to choosing high-quality flooring solutions for their homes, from carpet to hardwood. What started over 50 years ago as a single storefront has grown into a trusted family-owned business with four convenient showrooms across Kansas and Missouri.

While the flooring industry has changed quite a bit since we first opened, our mission hasn't budged. We’re here to provide our neighbors with high-quality flooring solutions, expert advice, and professional flooring services. With approximately 90 dedicated employees across our locations, we combine the massive selection of a major retailer with the personalized care you can only get from a local family-owned business.

Whether you’re updating a cozy mid-century home in Overland Park or renovating a property north of the river, we have the perfect flooring solution for you. We carry carpet, carpet tile, hardwood flooring, laminate flooring, high-performance luxury vinyl flooring, budget-friendly sheet vinyl, and area rugs of all sizes. And we don’t just sell flooring. To make your renovation completely stress-free, Carpet Corner offers professional services tailored around your schedule, including design consultations, professional flooring installation, and free in-home estimates. We’ll even bring flooring samples directly to your home if you can’t make it to a showroom!

True local expertise

Having served both sides of the state line since 1968, we’re deeply familiar with the Kansas City area. We know how the midwestern humidity swings can cause hardwood subfloors to shift, how to handle the damp basements common in older Overland Park and Gladstone neighborhoods, and which materials withstand high traffic in busy suburban households. When you work with us, you’re working with locals who know and love the area.

Partnerships with top brands

Over our five decades in business, we’ve built relationships with top manufacturers in the flooring industry. We’re proud to offer high-quality products from the most reputable brands, including Shaw Floors, Mohawk, Anderson Tuftex, Karastan, Masland, Phenix, Dream Weaver, Stanton, Mannington, and many more.

Whether you’re looking for a beautiful custom area rug, hardwood flooring, or expert guidance, we’re here to help. Visit one of our showrooms in Olathe, Overland Park, Gladstone, or Kansas City. You can also schedule a free in-home estimate or a shop at home appointment to get started. Experience the Carpet Corner difference firsthand!
